Jan Vítek lives in Prague, Czech Republic. He doesn't work in a studio, he creates directly on the spot, on the street, while driving in a vehicle or in a cafe. He experiments with techniques, he likes spontaneous quick drawings but also larger paintings, where he returns to the place repeatedly.

In April 2021, his first exhibition My Life / Můj život took place. The exhibited works were from 2019 and 2020, created in Prague, the Czech Republic, Germany, Denmark, Poland, the Netherlands and Sweden. In the same year, another exhibition followed in the Passage of Czech Design and at the end of the year at the Art Prague Fair. In 2022, he exhibited at the Žižkov 100 group exhibition and in Galerie Art Mozaika.
